One key component of a tight tribe is shared events. Things we do together,or, if not at the exact same time at least in some sorta way that we can discuss. Some sorta conversation launching off ledge.
Shared experiences are launch pads, skid pads, for connecting.

Shared experiences, doing things. Things worth having an after incidence debriefing about. It’s funny just how many this tribe has. Tedx, gsatc, ta5, pizza catchup, bovinova, spermandegg, Pieapolooza, sausagefest, innoventure, ls2011, sexytacos, breakfast club,Summer smoker, midsummer night. Don’t forget lunch bunch, prsa, aaf, bma, et al ad infinitum. Chrissakes the dance card Is packed. With interesting people doing things worth talking about.

Today at least four more of us will grace the racetrack. Doing one more thing that many of us have done. Sideways, askew, over hills, at speed. And whenever they see that distinctive black hat with the red stripe, they’ll know they were part of something awesome.
